Energy and food

Imperix runs on two separate energy pools. Managing them is the core of daily play.

Pool Max Regenerates Spent on
Combat Energy 100 +1 every 6 minutes Fighting (10 per action)
Stamina 100 +1 every 6 minutes Working (10 per shift)

Both refill at the same rate: +1 point every 6 minutes, or a full empty-to-100 bar in about 10 hours. Regeneration stops at the cap, so a full pool is wasted potential, so the habit to build is to spend before you cap.

  • Combat Energy is your fighting fuel. One fight action is a 10-hit volley that costs 10 energy, so a full bar is ten volleys. It’s restored by eating food.
  • Stamina is your work fuel. Each work shift costs 10 Stamina. In practice the 3-hour work cooldown limits you long before Stamina runs out.

Eating food tops your Combat Energy back up outside the normal regen curve, and the better foods add a temporary combat buff. Each item you eat spends one food right.

Food Restores Combat buff Duration
Bread Bread +10 energy None n/a
Fish Fish +25 energy +5% damage 30 min
Meat Meat +50 energy +10% damage, +5% crit 60 min

You can’t eat unlimited food. Eating is gated by food rights:

  • You hold up to 3 food rights at once.
  • You regain +1 right every 2 hours (the timer only runs while you’re below 3).

So a fully-stocked fighter can burst three foods, then must wait for rights to recharge. This is what stops energy (and therefore damage output) from simply being bought in bulk.

Energy is the throttle on the whole game. Every wage you earn and every hit you land traces back to how well you convert two regenerating bars into action. Treat them as your most valuable daily resource.
