Companies and production
The whole Imperix economy runs on 12 company types: three raw extractors, then three production chains (food, ammunition, components), each three tiers deep. Every finished good in the game is built by someone’s company.
The three chains
Section titled “The three chains”Everything starts from three raw materials, one per chain:
Grain
Iron
Silicon
Each chain refines its raw material up through three tiers. Higher tiers also consume the tier below them, so an advanced good carries the whole chain’s work inside it.
Raw extractors
Section titled “Raw extractors”| Company | Produces | Base output | Cost | Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grain | 100 | 10 | 2 | |
| Iron | 100 | 10 | 2 | |
| Silicon | 100 | 10 | 2 |
Food chain
Section titled “Food chain”| Company | Tier | Inputs | Produces | Base output | Cost | Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 Grain | 100 | 15 | 2 | ||
| 2 | 2 Grain, 1 Bread | 80 | 20 | 5 | ||
| 3 | 3 Grain, 1 Fish | 60 | 25 | 7 |
Ammunition chain
Section titled “Ammunition chain”| Company | Tier | Inputs | Produces | Base output | Cost | Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 Iron | 100 | 15 | 2 | ||
| 2 | 2 Iron, 1 of 9mm | 80 | 20 | 5 | ||
| 3 | 3 Iron, 1 of 5.45mm | 60 | 25 | 7 |
Component chain
Section titled “Component chain”| Company | Tier | Inputs | Produces | Base output | Cost | Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 Silicon | 80 | 20 | 2 | ||
| 2 | 2 Silicon, 1 Electronics | 60 | 25 | 3 | ||
| 3 | 3 Silicon, 1 Alloys | 40 | 30 | 5 |
Components feed the workshop rather than the battlefield: Electronics, Alloys and Polymers are what you craft equipment from.
How much a company produces
Section titled “How much a company produces”Daily output follows one formula:
output = base output × (1 + 0.10 × workers today) × region multiplier
Then it rounds down. Three levers:
- Base output. Set by the company (the tables above). Raw and tier-1 sit highest; each step up the chain trades raw throughput for a more valuable good.
- Workers. Each distinct employee who works there that day adds +10%, up to 10 employees for a full +100% (double). You count as one worker on your own company.
- Region multiplier. Where the company sits. This combines the region’s prosperity (roughly ×0.85 to ×1.30) and any resource deposit bonus for that chain (up to ×1.20).
Worked example. A Bakery (base 100) with 5 employees in an average region
(×1.0): 100 × (1 + 0.5) × 1.0 = 150 Bread. Move it to a prosperous region sitting
on a rich Grain deposit (say ×1.30 × ×1.15 ≈ ×1.50) and staff it fully:
100 × 2.0 × 1.50 = 300 Bread from the same building.
Ownership limits
Section titled “Ownership limits”| Limit | Value |

| Companies of the same type | 10 |
| Refund when you dissolve a company | 40% of its build cost |
